Pegasus Farms

Hope Bridge is a Non-Profit launch of The Christ Foundation.

Empowering Lives Through Equestrian Therapy and Community Programs

Pegasus Farm was established by three local teachers who shared a vision of creating an equestrian center that would allow children with special needs to engage in physical activity and recreation. In 1986, the center opened with just two horses, one backyard, and five students. Today, Pegasus Farm serves over 120 students a week consisting of children and adults with a range of different challenges, a testament to its success and solid reputation.

In 2011, the farm expanded its services to better serve adults with a range of disabilities, launching the Wings program to help participants develop employment and independent living skills. The Pegasus Farm Country Store and Gardens were added in 2016 to provide the opportunity for participants to work and gain experience in a small business setting.

In 2017, after securing funding and a location in Louisville, Ohio, Pegasus Farm and community partners created a comprehensive Military and First Responders Center (MFC) to meet the needs of veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and their families with unique programs.

Today, Pegasus Farm is recognized as one of the most diverse and comprehensive therapeutic/adaptive equestrian centers in the United States.
