Lake Township FISH: Serving the Community with Love and Support Since 1972

Lake Township FISH is a non-profit located in Hartville, Ohio that has been serving the residents of Lake Township and the surrounding area since 1972. FISH provides families in need to opportunity to shop for free groceries at their food pantry every other week. They also provide financial assistance to Lake Township residents facing utility shutoffs or eviction notices.

Here’s what the Lake Township FISH team has to say:

“Our mission is to Live Christ’s Love by Serving our Neighbors. Lake Township FISH is a very special place because it not only helps people in need, but is a place where the area churches and businesses come and serve the community together regardless of church affiliation or beliefs. We are sponsored by 19 area churches, 23 businesses, the Lake Local and Lake Center schools, and countless individuals that donate food, finances, and time to help keep our doors open to neighbors in need.

Our food pantry is open every Tuesday 10-11 and Thursday 6-7. We also have a Stark Blessing Box located outside our gate on Sunnyside road if you have a need or want to leave some groceries there for your neighbors.

In addition to groceries, we also are a location for the Heart of Ohio Diaper Bank and provide thousands of diapers and wipes each year to families through this diaper program.”
